International Conference on Business, Economics and Social Sciences (ICBESS) is one of international conferences in the field of economy, business, social sciences, which is held routinely in the past 3 years. ICBESS is an interdisciplinary forum for international scientific meeting among students, lecturers, and professors from various fields of research and culture. This activity involves young scientists, S1 students, graduate students, PhD students, and those who are interested in economic, business, and social sciences research. ICBESS emphasizes on high quality scientific and educational programs. ICBESS 2016 focuses on the main topic ”Managing Global Competition Issues on Economics, Business and Social Science Research Enhancing a Sustainable Economic Environment".
ICBESS invites around 200 presenter and non presenter participants from more than 60 countries annually. This international conference is held annually in August, the first one is in Bali, the second one is in Lombok and the third one is in Bali. This year ICBESS takes place from August 10 – 11, 2016.
The program is continued by parallel session conference, followed by concurrent session II dan III. Speakers and audience are split into several rooms based on the concerned topics from each speaker. There are 4 papers from IBS received in this international conference. Yet, there are only 3 papers presented in this conference. The title of paper presented by Alvien Nur Amalia and Anna Sardiana is : The Implementation of POJK 45/2015 On The Banking Financial Performance in Indonesia: An Analysis; Sulistyowati and Puspita with title: Analysis Of Gold Investment In Islamic Banking: Quantitative Simulation Of Gold Farming; Puspita and Sulistyowati with title: Analysis of Factors Affecting International Banking Activities: A Focus On the Transactions of Islamic International Trade Financing (Case Study in XYZ Sharia Bank). All IBS delegates have the opportunity to present on Concurrent Session II at Shinta Ballroom. Each presenter has the opportunity to present for 10 minutes with 5 minutes for question and answer. Concurrent Session III ends earlier, that is at 17.00 Middle Indonesia Time (WITA), so that participants and speakers can rest for a while in their hotels, before continuing on the evening programs. The evening programs start at 19:00 Middle Indonesia Time, followed with Gala Dinner at Beach Gate Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel Kuta, Bali until 22.00 WITA.
Concurrent session IV continues at 08.00 WITA and ended after Concurrent session V at 11.00 WITA. ICBESS 2016 is closed with keynote speech by Prof Vo Van Sen from Vietnam National University, and then lunch together ICBESS 2016 supported by 29 Co-Host, attended by 200 participants from 7 countries, i.e. Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, and Nigeria with 92 papers presented.
