On Saturday, August 10th, 2024, Indonesia Banking School (IBS) hosted a highly engaging International Guest Lecture themed “Debt and Economic Growth.” The event took place in Amphitheater 405, featuring Prof. Ts. Dr. Shafinar Binti Ismail, President of the International Association of Economic & Business (IAEB), as the keynote speaker. The session was expertly moderated by Dr. Sulistyowati, S.E., M.Si, a senior faculty member at IBS and the Head of IAEB for the Jakarta region.

The discussion revolved around the critical impact of debt on national and global economic growth, with Prof. Shafinar sharing in-depth knowledge on the challenges and opportunities within the economic landscape.
